Job description

Marketing and Sales Executive

BA, B.Com ,BA, BMS Fresher
International Consulting firm, Bangalore


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Call new leads derived from lists, referrals and advertising programs.
  • Answer calls (in rotation) & Business Development inquiry line
  • Follow up with leads who have been contacted in the past
  • Conduct initial qualification of leads based on brief phone discussion
  • Set appointments for Business Development/Sales Manager or Director of Business
  • Development for program discussion and ultimate goal of closing qualified leads
  • Use email to correspond with leads to follow up and/or to confirm appointments
  • Provide feedback to others in department related to information prospects share that could be helpful in advertising/marketing as well as our overall programs
  • Manage and Run online marketing campaigns

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Relevant graduate degree or equivalent
  • One or more years telemarketing/phone sales experience
  • Freshers also welcome with Good Communication Skills
  • Experience using CRM/sales software preferred
  • Basic knowledge of promotional products industry will be helpful,
  • Behavioural traits required (Communication, Customer service, team orientation, Self-starter, High degree of motivation etc)

  • Manage the development, delivery, and analysis of integrated go-to-market programs for the market that include all key service areas; all customer segments; and all types of partner marketing.
  • Manage the development/delivery/analysis of integrated go-to-market (GTM) programs.
  • Manage all customer segments (horizontal, vertical/industry, key accounts) and all types of partner marketing (channels, alliances, sponsorships, promotional)

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develops and secures approval for GTM plans and budget
  • Execution of GTM plans in line with the budget
  • Manages/monitors delivery of pre-determined messaging/content
  • Executes/monitors pre- determined customer segmentation strategies and experience plans.
  • Tracks and reports marketing metrics/goals/benchmarks.
  • Develops closed-loop post- analyses for marketing programs, and identifies/executes indicated actions.
  • Performs marketing support activities as needed, e.g. Siebel MRM/CRM, PO and accrual management, collateral fulfilment.
  • Assists Sales with development of sales training materials.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
  • Knowledge of offering, segment, partner and account-based marketing.
  • Knowledge of advertising/direct marketing/research vendor practices and procedures.
  • Understanding of the industry, offering categories and company offerings/strategy.
  • Solid project and budget management skills.
  • Excellent written/oral communications.

Education and Experience Required:

  • MBA or Masters in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred.
  • 1+ years marketing experience including offering marketing, segment marketing, channel marketing and partner marketing preferred
  • MBA Fresher with high levels of motivation and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Agency, sales and/or channel experience a plus.
