News from Anti-Stress Program Testing

May 18th, 2015

Time flies by so fast when you're having fun. And that's how we got almost to the middle of our Anti-Stress Program testing. 24alife team is working on all stress resilience tasks, looking for new ideas and inspiration. We can say that those, who are doing their best, already feel some changes and progress in their physical performance, nutritional habits and stress management.

We also already had some of our workshops. Our professionals presented the approach to occupational stress management from all points of view. And last, but not least, we can show you our new video, presenting 24alife team members trying out the 90-day Anti-Stress Program.

Workshops for Stress Management

Besides the first workshop about stress and its meaning in our life, we have also had the workout and nutrition workshops. Eva, Performance Psychologist, and Karmen, Health Psychologist, explained that stress is actually a normal physical reaction of our body and is necessary for our survival. The problem can occur when it becomes chronic. Simply said, worrying creates "artificial stress circumstances" that make our body produce more cortisol than evolutionally necessary. And that is why relaxation is really important.

Miloš, a Professor of Physical Education, invited us to a few workouts, providing great motivational and educational support to our participants. We now know more efficient exercises and we perform them correctly, which reduces the possibilities for injury.

Another problem of chronic occupational stress are high cholesterol levels. That is why Damijana, our Nutritionist, explained the difference between good and bad cholesterol and how to consume a sufficient amount of it. A lot more was said and taught during the first half of the anti-stress program and we'll tell you more about it soon.

For now, we can say that we have already learned so much from the 24alife Anti-Stress Program as well as we have bonded, enjoyed spending time together and got to know each other even better. We were so happy to try it out that we really wanted to show you how it looks like and that is why we also filmed a short video that might inspire you as well.
