How to cope with stress?

Stress is one of the most harmful everyday threats to our health. Stress related diseases occur in more than half of every visit to the Doctors office. No surprise, more than 300 participants attended the free afternoon workshop yesterday at Ljubljana Kolosej. Stress Expert Prof. Dr. Matej Tusak lead the event with the "Do not let stress to affect your health" title. The event was sponsored by Adriatic Slovenica (AS) insurance and its partners, 24alife.

UAE Happiness Initiative is being spread in many ways and one of them was Monday's event named Happiness Talks – Spreading Happiness. The organizers of the event are aware how important it is to spread happiness, explain what it actually means and how it can be pursued.

Inspiring guests were speaking at the event. Director of Corporate Happiness at Touch Points Rehan Naeem opened the event stressing the importance of generosity for one's wellbeing. The first speaker at the event was Roberto Re, the worldwide known coach, author, and motivator. After his speech, our sports psychologist and consultant for workplace health and wellbeing Eva Kovač invited the audience to take a look at always popular theme – stress and its effect on our life and happiness.

Stress management program for Individuals in Slovenia from Now on with the Preventive Check-Ups

The new year has already brought great news! About a month ago we have started a new approach to our programs for active health prevention. With the Diagnostic Centre Bled, we have created a combined programs including preventive evaluations for individuals. The idea was to combine the top medical experts' practice and the 90-days-long individual tailor-made Stress management program for the participants.

And millions of ideas how to achieve all of the above. But, you know what? Despite all these great advice, most of us cannot even start. And many of those who actually enthusiastically follow their resolutions at the beginning of the year, sooner or later give up. Thank You for Being a Part of the International HLS New Delhi

On Tuesday, November 22nd, the important event took place in the India Habitat Centre New Delhi. Together with 40+ renowned speakers and 100+ attendants we were discussing Wellbeing at Workplace—Ideas for India in order to contribute to healthier and happier employees and increase active health prevention at the workplace.

5th International HLS was co-organized by 24alife, Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in New Delhi, and the Delegation of European Union in India. The event was also supported by EBG Federation (erstwhile European Business Group—EBG) and AIMA. We would like to thank everyone who contributed. Running the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon with Tata Consultancy Services

Through all the years we are working on active health prevention by trying to help people improve their lifestyle and adopt healthy habits, there have also been opportunities for us to walk our talk. One of them occurred on a beautiful Saturday, 19th of November 2016, when we attended the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon event. But not only that we ran there, a few participants of our team did it together with our colleagues from the Tata Consultancy Services who we met when we started to share the initiative of healthier and happier people in India.

Well, we have to confess that we couldn't attend the whole half marathon, as the Symposium we were organizing there was three days later. But we took a 6 km long Great Delhi Run and we had lots of fun. The whole group wore a brand new HLS New Delhi T-shirts, designed and printed especially for the event.
